‘We came together to fill the gap to help those most in need’.

The United Kingdom, a developed western world recognised globally as a leading nation of wealth, education and healthcare for all, world hub for finance and voted in the top 10 best countries to live in by the Legatum Study in 2018. Yet in this very nation, every second, children and adults are going without food.

Numbers have soared exponentially overnight and more vulnerable families, children and elderly struggle to eat. The Food Share UK formed to fulfil the shortfall in produce available to food sharing organisations in the UK.

We have partnered with many food distributors nationwide including farmers and markets to buy and collect basic nutritious food; both tinned and fresh. It is then delivered direct to food supplying organisations offering healthy nutritional meals to the most vulnerable in our society during this national crisis and beyond.

We ensure to pay all our food suppliers and partners so that we look after their businesses and help them stay afloat during the coronavirus pandemic.
